Arduino Leonardo is a newest Arduino controller with low cost launched by Arduino teams. It has 20 pcs Digital I/O Pins, 7 pcs PWM Channels and 12 pcs ADCs. Compared with other versions' Arduino independent USB-Serial OEMC, Leonardo innovatively adopted Single chip solutions. That is only using one piece of Atmega32u4 to achieve USB communication and control. This innovative design reduces the cost of Leonardo a lot. What's more, Atmega32u4 original ecology's character of supporting USB can make Leonardo used as a mouse or keyboard, which immensely improves its applications. But it needs new version of Arduino IDE1.01 or above versions if you want to use Arduino Leonardo. Moreover, there is a little visible difference between Arduino Leonardo and normal version of Arduino.
